Case Study

01 / The Brief

Reporting damageis rarely easy

Reporting damage is usually bureaucratic. Forms feel like applications. Too many steps. Too much overhead. People drop out before they submit.

smapp makes reporting simple, clear and human: photo, location, category, submit. Nothing more needed.

02 / Process

Research, UX/UI,Branding

Research showed where the process breaks. Unclear responsibilities. Missing feedback. Too many steps. UX reduced the flow. Testing sharpened each step. Branding set look and frame.
The right UI turned it into a finished app.

03 / Visual System

Reporting damage,made easy

Wordmark and character system set the tone. Open, direct, low‑bureaucracy. smapp Green as primary. Lilac and yellow as accents. smapp Black for calm and credibility. Visibility and approachability.

Icons, badges and illustrations guide the flow. Less formal, just as clear.

04 / The App

From wireframeto app

Lo‑fi wireframes defined the core flow before the final UI took shape. Each screen has one job: locate, photograph, categorise, submit, confirm.

Many steps become one clear path. Direct and doable.

05 / Out of Home

Beyondthe screen

As a concept, a poster series carries the modern UI into the streetscape: smapp characters paired with headlines about reporting.
